Maggie Sohns
We're thrilled to welcome back Coach Maggie Sohns to our Beyond Sticks summer camps for another consecutive year!
Currently serving as the assistant field hockey coach at Stevens Institute of Technology for her second year, Maggie brings a wealth of experience and a passion for player development to our program. With a background that includes a two-year stint as a graduate assistant coach at McDaniel College, where she also took on interim head coaching duties, Maggie has demonstrated her commitment to leadership through sport. Her coaching prowess was evident at McDaniel, where she guided first-year Dillan Williams to honorable mention all-conference recognition, highlighting her dedication to empowering players to reach their full potential.
As a former standout player at FDU-Florham, Maggie's impressive achievements on the field, including being named the MAC Freedom Offensive Player of the Year and earning All-America honors, serve as inspiration for our camp participants to strive for excellence. Beyond her athletic accomplishments, Maggie's academic achievements, including being named FDU's Robert T. Shields Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year, showcase her commitment to holistic development both on and off the field.
We're delighted to have Maggie back with us, ready to empower and inspire the next generation of field hockey enthusiasts!
