Join Beyond Sticks and our partner, Summertimes, for a week of skill-building, fun, and personal growth at our Field Hockey and Games Camp! This camp is designed for both beginners and athletes with some experience. We combine field hockey fundamentals with exciting games and purposeful activities to help campers develop as well-rounded athletes and confident leaders.

Why Field Hockey and Games Camp?

Skills & Fun On and Off the Field

Campers will develop their field hockey skills the *Beyond Sticks way*—through fun, fast-paced games and competitions that spark creativity, decision-making, and teamwork. Our play-based approach helps athletes learn by doing, building confidence and adaptability in a supportive environment.

Off the field, campers dive into meaningful Play Beyond the Game lessons:

  • Embracing Failure: Reframe mistakes as growth opportunities during challenges like the dragon race and Gatorade river.

  • Focus & Visualization: Learn how to harness the power of visualization and control the things you can with our Circle of Control lesson.

  • Teamwork & Creativity: Build towers during our Diversity = Strength challenge and show off your team spirit with tie-dye shirts on Team Spirit Day.

Daily Parent Updates

Stay connected throughout the week! Parents will receive daily updates featuring:

  • A recap of the day’s activities and lessons

  • Photos capturing the fun and growth

  • A discussion question tied to the day’s theme to spark meaningful conversations at home

Camp Takeaways

By the end of the week, your athlete will:

  • Strengthen their field hockey skills, both technically and tactically

  • Gain confidence and leadership skills

  • Take home a Beyond Sticks reversible pinnie, a tie-dye shirt, and a Play Beyond the Game mentality to continue to grow on and off the field
