Health and Safety Policies

We realize the important role athletics plays in mental health for young people and we do everything we can to ensure we can continue to play safely.

All Beyond Sticks coaches are vaccinated against COVID-19.

For athletes and coaches to take the fields:

• If you are sick, stay home.

In order to make play as safe as possible we will be using the following rules until further notice: 

• Parents may stay and watch training sessions but please allow our coaches to interact with athletes without interference.

• Program enrollment will be capped and training organized to allow us to work in groups of 16 or fewer athletes.

These policies will continually be evaluated as the situation changes. Thank you.

Coach Education

All of our coaches pass background checks, as well as complete USA Field Hockey Safe Sport training. The vast majority of our coaches have Level 1 or Level 2 USA Field Hockey certification. Our Director has a Level 3 certification.

Pick-up and Drop-off

We ask that parents and family members drop off and pick up as close to the start and end time of our sessions as possible.

Each coach checks in and checks out each athlete. Coaches will always stay with athletes until everyone is picked up.
